Window Maker would not exist or be as mature as it is today if it wasn't for
the vision, skills, and hard work of the core development team. These
individuals have put forth a significant effort to the project over the

Window Maker is a free software project. Like other free software projects,
no one is getting paid to write code or market a product. To people
unfamiliar with this concept, it may be difficult for them to understand how
such a project can exist. The answer is simple; it exists because of the
many contributions made by developers and users from around the world.
That's right -- people like yourself who willingly volunteer their time to
work collaboratively over the Internet in order to provide quality, usable
software.
This isn't to say that the contributors go without getting paid, but it
is far removed from traditional thinking. In this case, recognition for
one's work is the currency, and we want to ensure all contributors to the
Window Maker project receive it. So without further adieu, we present a
list of these individuals along with a summary of their contributions:
